NBTEditor
NBTEditor allows easy customization of many aspects of Minecraft, through the modification of NBT tags, on Spigot and CraftBukkit servers. Creating custom potions and tools with powerful enchantments is as easy as running a few commands. And with the help of the Book of Souls, it's possible to create highly complex entities and spawners with ease.
Features include:
- Robust system to edit of all entities and spawners using a book based UI (Book of Souls);
- Conversion entities into '/summon' commands;
- Customization of items (name, lore, unbreakable, modifiers, colors on leather armor etc.);
- Item enchanting with no limits;
- Creation of custom potions;
- Conversion of items into '/give' commands;
- Tile customization (spawners, beacons, chests etc.);
- Conversion of tiles into '/setblock' commands;
- and more...
Edit now, spawn later: The Book of Souls is most powerful feature of the NBTEditor, it allows for easy entity customization. Create bosses, custom villagers, flying creepers or anything you like. No data files, no one-time customization, just keep the book safe and you can spawn as many entities as you like.
Included is also an 'Item Storage' command to keep track of your Books of Souls and other edited items.
The variable system used by the NBTEditor ensures that only valid NBT changes are performed while providing a standard way to make those changes. Arbitrary NBT modifications are not possible.
All Items, Entities and Spawners are fully compatible with the Vanilla Minecraft!
Great for creating adventure maps!

Buiild #11 on the Jenkings Server works on 1.12.1.
The NBTEditor now supports 1.12. You can check the code on the mc-1.12 branch and download the jar on the soon-to-be official Jenkins server NBTEditor @ jenkins.androkai.net by @Androkai.

I can't find the permission note :\ Can u link me there ?
https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/nbteditor/pages/documentation/permissions
Documentation linking wrong :(
Thanks :D
(FOR WINDOWS USER)
If you want nbteditor 2.2 for mc 1.11.X go to here https://github.com/goncalomb/NBTEditor/tree/mc-1.11
Download and unzip all in a folder (example Desktop/nbteditor)
Now you need the GIT program downloadable here https://git-scm.com/
Install GIT
Instal Java JDK
Right Click Mouse inside nbteditor folder and click on "Git Bash"
Now use this command "sh /C/ProgramFiles/Apache/maven/bin/mvn
Wait and like magic you will see a file named nbteditor-2.2-SNAPSHOT.jar in nbteditor folder
Use it in your 1.11.X server!
Missing some important bits there, I think. Like getting Maven working. Which is pretty much the only difficult part of the process for someone who doesn't know what they're doing. It's the only thing that got in my way, anyway.
Helpful stuff Google found for me:
https://www.mkyong.com/maven/how-to-install-maven-in-windows/
(for step 1 & 3, see: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/setting-the-java_home-variable-in-windows-8895.html win10 works like win8)
Using these two sites I was able to get Maven set up.
Still had issues figuring out what to do after that, as your instructions just kept giving me errors in the Git Bash console.
In the end I just input the command "mvn" instead and it miraculously worked.
Edit: http://maven.apache.org/download.cgi
Linking to Maven's site, even though the instructions provided link there too.
Any idea when the update is coming?
Also a suggestion:
Ability to add scoreboard tags to mobs on spawning
Add ability to change potion colors as a tag
Any chance on getting 1.11.2 within the next couple of weeks? Would love to update my community server, but it relies so heavily on NBT for the majority of our content.
AWESOME plugin. masterpiece of NBT data editor.
but NBTedit 2.0 is not compatible with minecraft 1.11.2 :o
I hope plugin'll be update XD
You can download 1.11.2 Version on Github c:
Umm.. How can I download it? :o
https://github.com/goncalomb/NBTEditor/releases
Nbtedit 2.0.1 is not working properly in MC1.11
..or Do I need to manually build plugin with Maven?
Please forgive my dumb question... :D
#K3nniii
u build this plugin manually ^^'
I'll try that. THX :>
Hype! Any estimates as to when 1.11 will be finished?
